When the student is ready the teacher will come!
Ancient Buddhist Saying.

Four years ago, David, my brother, my friend, my teacher, lost his fight against Cancer and was called upon to take his place amongst the angels. OH! The teacher was always there, but I was not ready to be a student. My brothers passing caused me to ask many questions. Questions about life and living, Questions that only fools would dare to answer in one sentence. What is the purpose of life? What is our purpose in life? Who are we? Yes! I know that many people have asked these questions before me and many more will ask them long after I will be no more but in the very act of asking, I became a student. My first lesson was very short but profound. I received it while standing over David's grave.
"When the teacher comes he will not be bound by the limitations of time, space, or gravestones"
I am starting this discussion where we can share all those very simple lessons that took us so long to learn

I used to believe that I was here "in service" of others. That to be a success I had to keep everyone else happy and be who I thought they needed me to be.

I now Know that if I am true to myself, the rest follows effortlessly.
