this is the CHURCH Tower from Camalig near the Mayon Volcano.
In an eruption in the 16th Century short before midnight Mayon erupted and buried the whole town-part which was not up on the left side on a little mountain.

Many hundreds were buried and never the bodies were recovered like for example at Pompeii Italy.

We do not have them here where I live, but very big Karabaos (Water-bison's)

It is from the volcano, I believe. The sky was an amazing display of crimson, orange, yellow, blues and white.. breath taking

Comment by Diane on July 2, 2009 at 8:52pm: Um.. I don't think that picture is of a Karaboo... I think it's a Moose which is very common in eastern Canada, where I lived most of my life :).. We had a dirt road that ran through our property, much like the one in the photo.. and a huge moose and her little one lived near it. I was out for a walk one afternoon and came 'face to face' with her!!! I was lucky, she didn't sense any danger from me. Normally, the mother would attack any human that came close to her baby.
